Roasted Green Tea (Houji Bancha)
We love this tea from Tsukigase, Japan. It is called Houji Bancha in Japanese. It has a nutty aroma. When brew, it has a darker chocolate color. It tastes is also nutty and no astringent can be found. Since it is very low caffeine level, many Japanese gives this tea to kids. It is also very nice to serve over ice. Multiple infusions.
