The Passion Behind My Tea Store
Great Tea Road Co. is the product of my successful journey that is full of experiences. This is the result of my passionate drive to reach out to millions of people and care for their health through the tender and divine taste of teas.
What Inspired the Name Great Tea Road Co.?The name of my store was inspired by the historic Siberian route from where great quantities of tea are being transported from China to Europe. This route is also known as the Tea Road that surfaces on the Moscow Highway. By choosing this name, I feel like I am sharing with my fellow tea lovers an uplifting journey of my passion and taste.

How Did My Love for Tea Start? My profound and natural mania to share my love for tea with people helped me be still and attain utmost serenity. And no, this is not just an occasional enthusiasm. As someone who was born in Thailand to a Chinese immigrant family, I have learned to associate tea with every meal, and I have followed that tradition. Now, it is my ritual to start my day with a cup of tea.
Discovering Teas From Various PlacesMy ability to speak different languages helped me a lot in traveling to many tea-producing countries, which do not even exclude the rural mountainous regions that nest small tea farms to discover high-quality teas from my communities. It also allowed me to exchange interest and gain more information by speaking to the native tea connoisseurs about teas’ reputation and benefits.

My Journey to Becoming a Tea Professional
The mighty has led me to survive for this passion to discover nature’s loveliest tea gardens. My insights of an organic tea store helped me to begin my Japanese tea ceremony training with a tea master of Urasenke Tankokai Association. Through this, I became a certified tea professional. Today, I am a “Chado “(Japanese tea ceremony) practitioner and had also served as the VP of Yukimakai Urasenke of Minnesota.
Let Us Enjoy the Tea JourneyWe are on a journey on the Great Tea Road together. I am excited to share the best teas I have discovered with you. I believe that tea should calm your mind, soothe your body, and lift your spirit. I strive to provide organic teas and even locally blend them to bring healing sensations to you. I hope you can share my passion and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
