Our organic sencha is shipped directly from a Tea farm in the Uji area. We use first-grade organic sencha and only the first-picked leaves in Spring. It is grown in full sunlight and gives a light, delicate flavor with subtle sweet undertones and an earthly, breezy fragrance. Most Japanese enjoy this tea regularly.
INGREDIENT: 100% Camellia Sinensis (Tea)
CAFFEINE LEVEL: Low
BREWING DIRECTIONS: Warm steeping is recommended for this tea, as are multiple infusions. For more information, see our tea steeping tips page.
ORIGIN: Uji, Japan
GOOD TO KNOW: Keep in an air-tight container, away from strong odor or sunlight.

Love it
Japanese Sencha is my favorite everyday green tea. It has a clean, grassy scent and flavor, and I like it even better on the second steep when it becomes even smoother.
