Chinese Teas and Chinese New Year

As you know, Chinese and Tea have a long history. This year is a year of rabbits, which will fall on January 22. Therefore, we’d like to introduce five excellent Chinese Teas.

  • Keemun is a black tea with a high caffeine content that can stimulate the brain and promote memory.
  • Bi Luo Chun is a green tea that contains lower caffeine levels. It can help us feel awake, relieve fatigue, and help slow down aging.
  • Long Jing is another type of green tea with a light taste; it helps lower blood pressure, maintains cholesterol levels, and reduces the risk of a heart attack.
  • Puerh (aka Pu-er) is a category of tea. Just like black tea, it contains high caffeine. It helps reduce bad cholesterol or LDL and prevent diseases related to obesity.
  • Oolong is a category of tea. It has a moderate caffeine content, which can lower blood sugar levels. It contains antioxidants to help reduce the risk of cancer and other diseases.

All in all, teas are good for you. It does not go wrong to pick out any type of tea.
